Our services

Hotel Fritz Betriebs GmbH, Brunnenstraße 24–28, 58332 Schwelm, Germany, provides information about rooms, stays, weddings, events and meetings on this website. You can start a room booking, enquire about an event or a stay, and reserve a table for available events. Newsletter subscriptions are separate.

How to use our services

1. Book a room: Choose a room or open the booking tool. Booking continues in the external DIRS21 system. Check your travel dates, number of guests, availability, price and conditions there before completing your booking.
2. Enquire about an event or a stay: The planner guides you through the occasion, date, number of guests and available options. The summary shows your choices and, where applicable, a non-binding estimate. Enter your contact details to submit your enquiry. The hotel will discuss the details with you afterwards.
3. Reserve a table: Open the reservation form for the relevant event. Select the number of guests and enter your name and email address. Read the event information. A confirmation email is sent after submission.
4. Newsletter: Brevo provides the subscription form. Subscription requires your consent and confirmation through a link in a separate email. Optional marketing consent in a reservation form is not required to process the reservation.

Using the website

The website has German and English versions. Use Tab to reach controls and Enter or Space to activate them. The ‘Skip to content’ link at the start of each page leads to the main content. Cookie, reservation and planner dialogs can be closed with Escape. Previously saved cookie settings and enquiry dialogs also have a close button. You can pause automatic motion in the navigation; on small screens this setting is inside the menu. Videos also have their own controls. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is respected.

Accessibility status

We are improving the website using the requirements of the BFSGV and WCAG 2.2 Levels A and AA. On 7 October 2026, 40 pages and selected dialogs and enquiry flows were checked technically and with a keyboard. The website and connected services are not yet fully accessible. Full conformity has not been established.

• Some text, controls and form boundaries do not yet meet the required minimum contrast. Corrections to these contrast barriers are outstanding.
• The external DIRS21 booking process has not yet been fully tested with screen readers through guest details, payment and confirmation.
• The embedded German Brevo newsletter form has an incorrect document language and insufficient text contrast. Corrections within the external form are outstanding.
• The review of all video alternatives and alternative texts, and of all text contrast on photos and videos, is not complete.
• Complete practical checks with screen readers, enlarged presentation and all security and error states are outstanding.
